SARKODIE VEXED AT THE MEDIA AND SPEAKS HIS MIND

Ghana's 'Sarkcessful Rapperholic' icon Sarkodie entered the recording studio purposely to be blunt and free his mind about how Ghanaian media has not been supportive to him throughout his career and how they also embrace negativity about celebrities and talk less about their positives just because negativity sells more.

This news was broken few days ago about his new mix tape tune “Free Press” and this has made several people especially those in the media fraternity fume seriously in the country. Sarkodie seems to have poured out what has been bothering him a while in the freestyle tune. In the freestyle he talks about how some media personnel do not confirm news/rumors before publishing it on their platforms and he precisely used media reportage about him performing to cleaners at the recently held BET Experience in U.S.

The fastest rapper in Ghana also without mincing words touched on the fact that Ghanaian musicians do all the hustle themselves with no support from anyone and also made it clear that he was speaking on behalf of other musicians. We in Africa live in an arena where timidity and cowardice is embraced as respectfulness and humility and confidence and boldness as stubborn and too knowing.
Now do you think Sarkodie went too 'hard' on the Ghanaian media by lashing out at them or was simply doing the right thing by pouring his heart out to speak the stark truth about the entertainment industry and be free?
