BIG BROTHER AFRICA TO HIT SCREENS SOON

Big Brother Africa 9 kicks off on Sunday , September 7, 2014 and will be screened live 24/7 on DStv channels 197 and 198 while the best of the live highlights will be shown on GOtv . Every year fans across the continent sit eagerly glued to their screens , social media abuzz , as they wait tensely to be razzled and dazzled by their favourite Big Brother Africa housemates . As the show ’ s fan base grows , so does the conversation on the social networks . During the 8th season, over 6 million fans interacted with Big Brother Africa via the website , Twitter, and Facebook, with the website generating just over 200 million impressions . 

Season 8 winner , Dillish Matthews who has established a fan base of over 200 ,000 across Facebook and twitter said “ I never dreamt of such a big following and it keeps increasing , which is a great advantage for my career as a personality and model.
